Renewable energy in Croatia
Raguzin_PictureBy 2010, 5.8% of the total electric energy in Croatia could be produced from renewable energy sources (RES), which does not include big hydro power plants. In the production of electric energy, this represents 1,139 GWh. The EU and national energy strategy are continuously dictating an increase in the share of energy from water, wind, sun, biomass and geothermal sources. Read more here.
 
Young Internationals Night Event
mainlogo International Visitors Center of Chicago and American Southeast Europe Chamber of Commerce (AmSECC) presented a Young Internationals Night with Diplomat in Residence, Mr. Brian Flora. Sixty guests enjoyed a dinner buffet of authentic Bosnian-Herzegovinian cuisine in Sarajevo Restaurant, while learning about careers in the U.S. foreign service. Guests were also able to view a clip of "Enjoy Life - Bosnia and Herzegovina."

AmSECC and TUTA present Uncle Vanya
TutaIt has been over hundred and ten years since the first staging of Anton Pavlovich Chekhov’s play Uncle Vanya at the Moscow Art Theatre. Tuta Theatre and its director Zeljko Djukic recreated the magnificent play at the Chopin Theatre Chicago that was challenging in both form and content.
