Business without borders

In December of 2008, World Trade Center Illinois in Chicago co-hosted the first U.S.– Serbia IT Business Summit. The event was attended by 47 U.S. and Serbian Companies along with IT professionals, Serbian officials, and honorable guests. Vojislav Milutinovic, a young IT professional and entrepreneur in Serbia attended the summit and connected with AmSECC President, Igor Jokanovic.

Vojislav, 28 years old, was born and educated in Serbia, where he graduated with a degree as a mechanical technician. He has been in the IT business for the duration of his professional life. In 1998, he began work in South Africa as a developer for a game (EA). After that, Vojislav returned to Serbia to work for two different IT companies. In 2001, the young entrepreneur decided to launch his own IT company – Electronic Software Development (www.esd.rs), which now specializes in web development. ESD employs 11 designers, software developers and account managers.

Currently, Vojislav is engaged in a ground-breaking project for the Southeast Europe region. He has his sights set on Online T.V. (in Microsoft Silver light technology), where he plans to introduce the first Online T.V. in Serbia and the region.

Vojislav says, “I love making a good product, and discovering a new market for that product. I would like to help other people who enjoy learning and want to be educated have access to the same chances as I did.” He looks forward to interacting with AmSECC in a way that allows for cross-cultural networking, and building relationships with IT companies in the U.S.A.
