American Southeast Europe Chamber of Commerce will host a business-focused event promoting emerging market investment opportunities between the United States and select countries in Southeast Europe. The event will take place at the global law firm Baker & McKenzie Chicago office on April 14, 2010 from 2:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

This event will be beneficial to the American business community and Southeast Europe's official political representatives, trade attaches, business contacts and international service providers with expertise in international trade as it will engage in a discussion of exciting business opportunities in this region.

The program consists of panel presentations and a moderated discussion with representatives of six countries. Mr. Arthur L. George, a partner with Baker & McKenzie, will moderate the discussion. Ms. Mary Roberts, Managing Director of the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity, Office of Trade and Investment will deliver opening remarks. Ms. Violetta Kunze, a guest speaker from Bulgaria and partner at Djingov, Gouginski, Kyutchukov & Velichkov, Sofia, Bulgaria will deliver a presentation focused on the practical aspects of working within the region of Southeast Europe. A cocktail reception will follow the presentation.

Baker & McKenzie in conjunction with the business community will be showcasing a variety of significant opportunities currently present in the region, seeking to introduce them to all parties interested in doing business in the Southeastern European Region.
